Notice is hereby given that the City of Clarksville, TN, a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement community, has elected to amend its FY 2023/2024 CDBG Annual Action Plan/2020-2024 Consolidated Plan by undertaking the following activities:

$80,000.00

To be used by First Presbyterian Church of Clarksville to assist low and moderate-income residents with emergency utility assistance and shelter assistance. This includes providing direct support to tornado victims for the purpose of disaster recovery. 


Notice of 7-Day Public Comment Period

A 7-day public comment period regarding the City’s proposed Amendment to its Annual Action Plan FY 2023/2024 will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2024 and end on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Written and oral comments regarding the City’s proposed Amendment may be submitted by the general public. Written comments should be submitted by mail to: The City of Clarksville, Neighborhood and Community Services (CNCS), Attn: Brittney Cates, Grants Analyst, One Public Square, Suite 201, Clarksville, TN 37040; or, by e-mail to brittney.cates@cityofclarksville.com . All written comments must be received no later than Thursday, February 22, 2024 to be considered. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing mentioned below.

The public hearing will occur on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10 A.M. in the Neighborhood and Community Services department located at 1 Public Square, Suite 201, Clarksville, TN 37040.
