Introducing the Clarksville Greenway 8K Race, a brand-new running event that showcases the scenic beauty of the Clarksville Greenway.
The Clarksville Greenway 8K Race begins at the Heritage Park Trailhead. Runners will then make their way onto the Mary’s Oak Trailhead, pass the 600-foot pedestrian bridge, turn around at the Pollard Road Trailhead, and end back at Heritage Park.
Whether you're looking to challenge your running skills or enjoy a scenic run, the Clarksville Greenway 8K Race offers an opportunity to connect with nature and the community. Join us in this exciting new addition to Clarksville's active lifestyle offerings and experience the beauty of the Clarksville Greenway like never before.
Sunday, April 21, 2024, 9:00 am - Noon, Race begins at 10:00 am.
Registration is open to the first 500 participants. Registration will close on April 8th.
8K Route: In response to popular demand, we are excited to introduce this exclusive 8K route to our schedule of running events. Keep an eye out for a variety of our other running events featuring different distances throughout this year– we'll announce them shortly!
Timing: A disposable timing chip will be attached to your race bib. The bib must be worn unobstructed on your chest or front of your waist when you cross the finish line to receive an official time.
Awards: Prizeswill be awarded to the Top 3 male and female Winners. Additional awards will be given to the top males and females in each age division. All awards will be presented after completing the last race.
Results: Results will be posted on the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Facebook page on the day of the event. They will also be available on the event page at clarksvilleparksrec.com.
First Aid: Qualified first aid personnel will be available on the route.
