Regular full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits on the first day of the calendar month following completion of one full calendar month of service. Employees who do not enroll in the plan when initially eligible are restricted to enrollment during a qualifying event (e.g. marriage, divorce, birth, death, adoption, or change in spouse’s employment impacting their insurance), or during the yearly designated open enrollment period.
As of January 1, 2023 spouses can only be added to the health/vision/pharmacy plan if they are not offered coverage elsewhere. This does not affect spouses previously covered under our plan. This only affects new hires, or open enrollment elections.
